I bought two of these lexan Nalgene bottles for my recent Kilimanjaro trip. I bought them because they're durable and good for carrying water, but lately, I've noticed a lot of hipsters around New York carrying them too. Or am I just imagining it?

Yeah, it’s a hipster (or wannabee) thing.
I have a bunch I’d been using when I was too lazy to wash the dishes. Never thought everyone at the office would be using them as trendy water tumblers now.

Hm, never really noticed on my end. Guess I'm just not hip enough to own one of those things.

Hmm. I've had one for years for trips/camping/etc., and recently started carrying it again because a friend had one and it reminded how useful it is (better than buying plastic bottles). Clearly I'm just way ahead of the curve... ^o^

You can actually get one that has the U of C logo on it!(If you're so inclined of course.....) I had one last year that was great to carry around. Drink 2 of these and you basically have your water intake for the day.
One note, don't wash in the dishwasher. The plastic top melts, not the bottle itself but the cap definitely can. Not that I did this of course.... =)
