Aren't Globe and B'z like so last decade?

iTunes.jpg

Anyway... Apparently, I can browse, but I can't purchase.

BTW, What's up with Stefani's Harajuku fetish? Is there such a thing as (a single representative) "Harajuku Style?"

Ben:

Yeah unfortunately you need to have a Japanese credit card to be able to purchase from it. Rather sucks.

kaige:

So I guess even if I get iTunes Card in denominated in yen (assuming that'll work), I can only listen to either Japanese or US tunes on my Mac because I'd have to switch accounts?

Ben:

Yeah, seems like it. Sucks.

Jen:

Well, it seems to me that only non-Japanese-speaking people are obsessed with Japan and things Japanese, actually. :-(

I do think that there is a Harajuku style - it's rather goth, but a sanitised version, blended with shabby chic (not). It's horrid - I lived near Harajuku and it was always horrid to be surrounded by the misguided youths. Yikes. Nightmares.

kaige:

You mean "gothic lolita?" I thought by Harajuku she was referring to Takeshita-dori where you see a variety of flashy but mostly "normal" styles everyday, and not Yoyogi Park where people "dress up" on Sunday.
