Camera Goes Duo Core...

Canon 1D Mark III

This is pretty sick. 10 fps??? I'm having enough problems handling 5 fps on my 30D much less having to contend with 10. Geez. But it sounds like it's going to be one hell of a camera. My gadget lust is ragin' right now. For more details on this monstrosity, check out the white paper. I'm almost afraid to see what the 1Ds Mark III is going to be like.

On a side note, I'm kinda glad they didn't announce the 40D this time around, means I can stick with my 30D for awhile longer. =)

You definitely need help. ;)

Hsin:

Are you certain they won't announce the 40D or are they just releasing bits of news at a time?

Ben:

Heh, I'm pretty sure there won't be one for the PMAs. I guess if they're feeling very generous they might but I'm not counting on it.

kaige:

So, you have a 400D and 30D? Felix is right.

Ben:

What? I may need help but I'm not crazy. ;-p No point in having two 1.6 crop bodies lying around. If I was going to go dual I'd dump the 30D for a XTi again and pick up the 5D successor. For the one body route this 1D MkIII is looking mighty tasty. :)
